James Dalman, Director and Head Coach

James Dalman was raised on learning the Dutch soccer style and played for recreational and competitive teams before earning a spot on his high school team in his freshman year. He has coached soccer for 23 years, from recreational to competitive levels, to U-8 to High School teams.

Dalman coached the Scarlet Knights of Rochester, NY to the league championship before losing in sudden death overtime, with his team taking first place in the coed division and second place in the boys division of the NY Homeschool Tournament.

Three of the players he has coached were awarded All State Players of the Year and one of his players went on to kick for a semi-professional football team.

James loves the game of soccer and believes in coaching young players on more than finesse soccer skills – he desires that all his players develop great character, learn excellent sportsmanship, the value of team work, and how to show respect for all people on and off the field.
