PRAYER AND NEEDS:

For the last five years I have dreamed of building a club of teams to play soccer with all the values I have taught on this website.  We have had much interest over the years and a great group of families participating, but honestly we have struggled to take this vision to the next level and the place where we can have soccer teams for different age divisions.  I admit that some of this is my fault for not asking people for help and trying to wear all the hats but now parental involvement must happen.

WILL YOU HELP?

I would like to ask for you to get involved or provide assistance in a variety of areas. If we cannot get more people involved by the end of the summer then I believe it is time to lay this dream down and move on.

We all must be willing to sacrifice time in order to provide the best opportunities for our kids.  I firmly believe that we have something special and there have been so many comments on how we need to have soccer teams who can play with excellence and a competitive spirit that honors God.  I believe with more involvement and commitment from parents and players we can have a great program!

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:

  • Spread the word and ask people to be involved.  Let people know what we are doing.
  • Call schools (public and private) to see if they have soccer teams and about getting scheduled to play their teams.
  • Research on how we can get involved and enter our team in local leagues
  • Coaching or Assistant Coaching (the younger kids don’t need experienced coaches)
  • Contacting local soccer clubs about playing traveling recreation outdoors
  • Committing their players to play on our team above other local teams
  • Helping send out e-mails, making calls, or doing some administrative stuff
  • Prayer!

These are just a few ways that would be a HUGE help for me and this program!  A couple hours per week to a few hours per month would help keep this dream going.
